Information we collect

Account information

Name, email, company, and authentication information, handled via our authentication provider.

Billing information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We store subscription and billing metadata (plan, status, invoice history) — we do not store your card number.

AWS / environment information

When you connect an AWS account, BlobRouter may process: AWS account identifiers, bucket names, regions, object metadata (sizes, storage classes, timestamps), access and usage signals, lifecycle configuration, scan results, recommendations, and migration metadata.

BlobRouter does not download or store your object contents to perform a storage audit. Audits and recommendations are generated from metadata only.

How we use AWS access

BlobRouter uses the AWS permissions you authorize to inspect your storage environment and generate audit and optimization recommendations. Audit credentials are read-only, temporary (AWS STS), and are not used to modify your AWS resources. Executing an approved migration uses separate credentials, authorized explicitly for that purpose.

Sharing and subprocessors

We use a small number of third-party services to operate BlobRouter — see our Subprocessors page for the current list and what each one handles. We do not sell your data.

Data retention and deletion

You can disconnect AWS access at any time from your dashboard, or request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us below.
